Zaira Pineda, director of Injuve, said the program was “decided to support ventures led by women. In the short term, the premise is to strengthen businesses to support more young people and, of course, women.” ”, he emphasized.
Pineda added that initially there were more than 65 entrepreneurial women who benefited from the scholarship, but 45 have completed all procedures.
The latter received technical training at ITCA Fepade in three modules: Skills and Competencies for Life and Work, Disruptive and Innovative Entrepreneurship, and English for Specific Purposes.
“A few days ago, I said that these companies need to modernize and move towards the digitalization of their business,” added Cesar Interioro, Director of Professional Development Services at ITCA Fepade.

The beneficiaries are from the departments of La Libertad, San Salvador, La Paz, Cuscatlán, Santa Ana and Chalatenango. Participating ventures are one to five years old and led by young women between the ages of 15 and 35.
Carolina Jaime, one of the entrepreneurs who benefited, admitted: “With more ingredients, more products, more stores, and the dream of opening our first store has come true.”
Another beneficiary, Laura Menendez, who is starting her own business, acknowledged that this is a great opportunity to strengthen her business.
